Crafting baby

When morning sickness struck again with baby #2 all crafting, scrapbook, and let's be honest: laundry, cooking, make-up wearing, hair washing, and getting out of bed early-ing went out the window. We've been in survival mode for months. But aside from this week's battle of bronchitis, I think the light at the end of the tunnel is an arm's reach away.

Sooooo, a little laundry catch up, a shower, and BACK TO CRAFTS! Since there seems to be something in the water I had to begin with baby gifts! Between now and the end of the year I have 7 close friends having babies. SEVEN! That doesn't even include the countless other friends on facebook (at least 5 more come to mind). Sooooo baby crafts take front and center right now. I just hope when I'm done making gifts for everyone else there will be some time, energy, and ideas left for my precious bambino #2!

In the meantime, baby Haylie was first on the list as her Mama is due any day now...hopefully today, right?! Her big brother is Joshua...cupcake's sweet friend. I'm so excited that they will get to be big siblings together. Baby Haylie's room is done in shades of pinks and browns with butterflies. Here's what I came up with to send their way:

Wipes case:

Bow holder, cause every girl needs LOTS of BOWS!!!:

I made these little gifts before I knew our baby's gender and ohhhh I was thinking how much I love little girl things. Yay! The pink explosion continues :)

Christmas shopping?

Have you started your Christmas shopping, making, or creating?

I have. But I can't exactly start posting about that here or it would ruin sooooo many surprises. But I can FINALLY share Baby D's presents. From the moment we heard "I'm pregnant" we thought the Lord was bring our friends Brian and Liza a boy. Of course we have a 50% chance when guessing but something just felt like boy. So months and months ago I started planning his baby gifts. Luckily we got a confirmation somewhere along the way He was a HE! His Daddy is quite the musician and his Mommy always had burb cloth envy when our girls were little ones. So, I knew the set had to include some burb cloths. Of course I couldn't post the finished products before the shower but last Thursday I FINALLY got to celebrate with the Mommy-to-be and chocolate fondue. Yum! Now we just have to wait a few more weeks to meet him.

Check out Baby Dawson's presents:

So, back to Christmas shopping. For those who read the blog who might have me on your Christmas list here's a hint:
