Cupcake update...

It's been a great week though I've had to swallow the big-lump-in-the-throat reality that my baby girl is less newborn and more baby every day! She is trying to talk and laugh and spends half her day talking to me and random objects. She is also super close to making the connection that her hands can grab anything and everything she wants. She bats at things and occasionally grabs and today even grabbed something on her play mat and looked at it intently for a long time before dropping it. She is also so strong! I am impressed with her legs, her head control and her "death grip" she can get on things....my least favorite being my hair. She smiles all the time and is sleeping like a champ. We are so in love with her and can't believe we've had her for almost 3 months. The time really flies! We are so blessed and love being a family. Easter Sunday

Just a quick post to show off Chloe's first go at wearing a dress. We took her to church for the first time this morning and put a dress on her for the occassion. We think she looked precious and as far as I'm concerned...LET THE DRESSING UP BEGIN!!! I've been so anxious to put our cupcake in all the little outfits people have sent us but so far she's been too tiny. She is still really thin but at least now things don't look totally silly on her. So I'll be making use of the dresses and outfits we've gotten much more often.

We had her one month appointment Friday and she was 7 pounds, 15 ounces and 21.75 inches long. This puts her in the 10% for her weight and the 75% for her height. Guess she's like her Daddy - long and lean :).
