11 months

I'm a little behind on posting these 11 months pictures but better late than never!

We are so torn with emotions as our baby really is changing into her own person. We LOVE seeing who she is becoming but the baby stage seemed to blow by so darn fast. Everyone warns you of this....but until it happens to your own child, you can't fully comprehend.

This month Chloe has really started taking more and more steps. If I wasn't so paranoid about her falling, then she'd probably be walking more. She is saying a few words consistently: Baby, Dada, and Bye-bye. She also says doggie and mama less frequently. She has 5 teeth and is working on the 6th...maybe even by tomorrow morning. She love to blow zerbits on my stomach. I've been doing it to her for so long and now she has discovered she can do it back and cracks herself up. She is starting to sign back with us...not surprisingly "more" is her favorite and most frequent sign but she is trying "water" and "daddy" too. She waves bye bye lots...and sometimes rudely when someone comes over and she thinks we are going to leave her. She'll grab me tighter and wave bye bye as if to convince you to leave. Sorry if she does it to you :). She wears her hair in pig tails lots because it's getting so long. She also loves books more this month than ever. She is eating almost anything we put in front of her though still moderate amounts. She is also much better at feeding herself which is so fun when we have family dinners. She LOVES when Daddy comes home from work but also is a super big Mommy's girl during the day never letting me out of sight. She has learned to crawl the stairs. Really one day I decided I'd let her "try." Should have remembered we have a little monkey on our hands. She went right to the top, no problems, first try. Geez. So much for "learning." She just kind of knew. She loves to open her dresser drawers and empty them. She also loves to help with her diapers. She pushes our dinning chairs all over the place. She also has started whispering. When she first wakes up from a nap she'll whisper to me...it's so cute. Then after a certain amount of time, she determines it is ok to be loud again. She is doing great in our swim class and really has learned the concept of kicking. Guess our Monkey is also a fish. Finally she is also dancing up a storm! Even when my cell phone rings she'll dance. This has really been a FUN month. We love our little cupcake so much and can't believe that we're now in the midst of planning a birthday party! Yikes!
