Best friends

From birth Cupcake had friends that were close in age that we were seeing regularly. When you are a new parent it's natural to find other new parents and get together well before your kids need "friends." Luckily Cupcake likes the "friends" we choose for her and many of those friendships are dear to us even today.

With Cutie Pie however, we haven't had as many "friends" for her. Really we've been lucky that a few of our friends with older kids have 2nd children that will be a great fit when Cutie Pie is a bit older. The closest "friend" she has now is 6 weeks younger than she is and lives about 4 minutes from our house. Dream! Right? We LOVE that even though we don't have as many play dates for her, she will have one friend who is close in age and proximity. They are sweet together and spent much of our Easter celebration sitting side by side, trying to hold hands.
