Last weekend we had our Neighborhood party at the pool. For all the members who paid dues they have an annual members only pool party with catered Texas BBQ. As a single guy Chris never attended and even as newlyweds we opted out of what seemed like a family day at the pool. So this year we felt like it was a great opportunity to connect with neighbors and other families....and let's be honest...we still appreciate any meal we don't have to cook and clean up after! It was Chloe's first time in a bathing suit and first time in the pool. She screamed at first but then decided she liked it. We didn't keep her in the sun for too long...just long enough to introduce the pool and get a few videos. Our friends, Team Echs, were there too. Baby Eve is 6 months older then Chloe but if we're all still in our current houses, they will be in Kindergarten together. After the pool we gave Chloe a bath and she slept GREAT that night. I was thinking I should go to the pool everyday! ha! Do you think Chloe will be mad at us one day for laughing at her cry when we dip her in? Really it's just that we see her little dramatic tendancies and lovingly appreciate them but laugh all at the same time!

So fun!!! I can't wait to take the girls to the pool this summer. Do you remember last year when you went with me and the girls? You were so awesome playing with Sophia while I managed Nyla : )
WE just have to tell Chloe that she has to love love the water :)
